The Project

After working with a local college supplying standard office furniture, the Estates Manger asked if we could help them with the fit-out of a new science laboratory – to which the answer was Yes!

We at WarrensOffice work in conjunction with a number of experts from different Interiors fields, but always personally oversee and project manage the jobs themselves providing the client with a single point of contact throughout.

We were invited to carry out a site survey with their laboritory specialist and created detailed CAD plans for the new lab after a thorough consulatation with the science teachers who would be working there.

After the space plans had been submitted and agreed, a full (and extremely detailed) quotation was produced, and WarrensOffice was selected as the best of 3 proposals.

The works were all carried out during student holidays to minimise disruption and everything was completed and installed on time and within budget. The works included laying new flooring, installing new benches, cupboards, and worktops, fitting and testing a new Fume Cuboard, connecting up all of the extraction pipes, and carrying out all of the relevant testing.

The college was extremely pleased with the work and have been invited back to quote for more refurbishment projects scheduled for 2013!
